Baskin-Robbins® is hosting its third annual 31 Cent Scoop Night celebration on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. My Cartridge failed but she told me I could take it home at try it out because sometimes they work on your home computer if they don't work at the store. Q's About My Albertson's Run

Albertson's is doing a promo Spend $25 on particular products and get $10 off meat products. So in the Albies add they have a whole section on what products you can buy to get the promo sale. So I picked out which products i really needed and matched them with the coupons I had. I also read that some people were not buying the meat and getting the $10 off instantly. So I thought i would try it without. My cashier informed me that i had to at least buy some kind of meat product. So i grabed a pound of hamburger that was $2.75( not a good price but i was in a hurry because she was waiting on me). So I think it just depends on which store you go to and who helps you. And I also had a $5 catalina from the post cereal deal to use. And I got my Lysol 50% off but that is not in the promo deal. I combined it with an albertson's coupon on Lysol whipes 2 for $5. And then I will send in my mail in rebate later. See other post below!

They also are have a Unilever deal going on spend $40 Unilever product and purchase a turkey or Ham and get $20 rebate. This is between 4/1 -4/30 and can be done in multiple trips. So you could combine the two deals and get a smokin deal. I have two extra rebate coupon's if anyone wants them leave me a comment. They were in last sunday's paper.

My new cooking meal planning

I have been having a hard with planning meals and eating at home. Especially the nights i get off work I hate thinking of what I need to make. So I was talking to my mom about freezer meals and she told me about this book that she has used for years. It's called Make-A-Mix (very old!). I started flipping through it and it was something I thought I could really use and make my life alot easier. It has alot of basic mixes like chicken, hamburger, dry mixes, and they last a while depending on what mixes you make. I have started the freezer mixes. About a month ago I got hamburger on sale and beef roast and made some up. So for every mix their is like 6-7 recipes you can make with them. So you pull it out and defrost it and add simple ingredients to complete the meal. I have to say that of the ones that i have tried my family has loved! Just an idea it has saved me time and money. Lowes - Kids Workshop

Every first Saturday of the month Lowes has a free kids do-it-yourself workshop. The recommended ages are 5-11, yet I have taken my 3 yr old and he did just fine. They give you a free apron and goggles. You also get a patch to put on your apron every time you complete a project. Our son is always asking when the next project will be.
