Meridian Family 4th of July. Join the family fun with live music, activities, and a fireworks display. 7pm- dusk, Storey Park in Meridian, www.cityofmeridian.org.

4th of July Celebration. Caldwell Memorial Park is the center for many events; parade at 10am, car show, entertainment, patriotic bike contest, patriotic dog contest, food vendors, youth games and activities, and more. Arts For Kids. Free 45-minute hands-on workshops facilitated by professional artists for children ages 3 to 12. Registration is walk-up, classes are offered at 10am, 11am, and noon, near the Grove Plaza behind Brick Oven Bistro, 433-5675.
